TOURISTS
On the
left and right in the photo are self-employed handyman Jim Overduin of
Adelaide and his nephew, Jesse.
Second
and third are Jim's cousin Cor Fransooijs and Cor's wife Angela both of
Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Cor
and Angela were near the end of a four week visit to Australia which
included Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Hobart, Melbourne, and then the
coastal route by bus to South Australia.
Jim
was taking his relatives on a two-day trip by car to Kangaroo Island.
He had a positive comment about Sealink — they
missed the ferry
at Cape Jervis which could have meant forfeiting their fare but got put
on the next
ferry an hour later without penalty.
They
decided to see Western Cove, followed by Kingscote, and Flinders Chase
where they planned to stay overnight and do the Platypus Waterholes
Walk and a trip to
Admirals Arch. For Day 2 on their way back to the ferry they were
considering Seal Bay, Murray Lagoon
and Parndana Wildlife Park.
In
Holland Cor is a pump engineer with Hidrostal and Angela a senior
financial administrator with Nautilus International.
