Andreas Keil and his wife, Marita, and father, Ralf, visited Adelaide for two weeks, and spent three days of it
on Kangaroo Island.
They are from Leipzig, Germany, and were doing their own touring by car.
After leaving the ferry
they drove to Western Cove
before proceding to Kingscote and the Island Motel.
They planned to watch the feeding of the pelicans in Kingscote,
meet the sea lions at Seal Bay, visit the Parndana Wildlife Park, climb
the 512-step stairway up Prospect Hill near American River, enjoy
some Kangaroo Island restaurants, and whatever else time permitted.
I later found out they did not achieve all their original plans but
added some new ones such as a trip to Stokes Bay.
Andreas is employed in Leipzig as an electrician, Marita works in a
hotel, and Ralf who is aged 76 is retired.

Update:
After returning
to Leipzig Andreas and Marita prepared a book with more than 100 photos
of
their trip to
Adelaide and Kangaroo Island.
They sent me a copy which includes this photo of Andreas befriending a
koala at the Parndana Wildlife Park:
